The task of this project was designing and building a robot with the ability to deliver pizzas semi-autonomously and autonomously. These “pizzas” or 5.5” x 5.5” x 0.75” blocks of wood, need to be picked up from either the warming oven in the construction area or from the baker in the pizzeria and placed into either one of the two dorms (2 dorms per side of the field). The two dorms have 4 and 5 floors. In the first part of the game, our robot needs to be able to navigate the field autonomously with the use of vision, line tracking, and or range finding sensors. After that, we are able to remotely control our robot and complete the competition.
